“The recipe for Jobs in Minnesota and Jobs across the entire country is to stop the backwards thinking that Government jobs and incentives will bail us out of this mess. • As a state and a country we cannot afford the pensions and benefits of all the Government workers we presently have. Who retire in their 50’s instead of their 60’s and receive higher yearly incremental raises and health than the standard working person who is paying for the broken system. • Instead of adding to this problem, we need to cut government jobs putting them back into the private sector. This should reduce government spending because of a competitive market place and reduce the burden on the debunked government retirement program. • Loosen up financing to small to medium size business bring the pendulum back down closer to the middle allowing business to invest in itself and grow. • Keep the bush tax cuts in force for the next 24 months and review them at that time incenting the entrepreneur to grow his business and start new ones. • To fill the voids where we might need to add some government jobs, if you are receiving a check for assistance from the state you need to do some sort of work for the money you get. WPA There is no free lunch for a able mine and bodied person any more. ”
Gary, Minnetrista on September 6“This isn't a DFL or Republican issue, but the the State Government has to get their fiscal house in order NOW! In other words BALANCE THE BUDGET! Cut, cut, cut. They are into way too many things that a state government was NEVER intended to do -- and they stink at all of it...like pigs playing hockey. Small business is the answer. We provide the jobs. Large corporations and unions are getting the pork and wasting it. Hear me on this. Small business owners don't want another handout. We want the State of MN to cut the budget by 64% and then get the heck out of the way so that we can fix the problem for you. So cut, cut, cut...or we replace ALL the representatives. ”
